I figured out a great workaround by using screws with rounded heads (some HDD mounting screws I had laying around). My only regret is not having proper drive mounting screws and rubber grommets for the holes in the drive carrier. All programs load MUCH quicker and overall the system is nice and snappy. Boot time is now 15 seconds from power button push to usable desktop.

Lion download took a while, but the actual install took only 6 minutes! I’m already loving this SSD business. Couldn’t have done it (or been brave enough to try!) without out your help.
